Job Description

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our UK Distribution North East Sales Team

We are looking for an experienced field salesperson to join our Northern team on a 18 month fixed term contract. In this area you will be responsible for independent distribution merchants, buying group customers and wholesalers.

The team consists of Business Development Managers and this role would suit an individual that is proactive, has strong relationship building skills, enthusiastic and a desire to succeed.

Purpose of the Role

To maximise sales and profitability through the education, and relationship management of customers and potential customers within the Distribution Market.

The Opportunity: 

Achieving Sales and margin budget for the region.

Develop strategies to achieve company targets.

Growth of Market share across the Independent Distribution Market.

Measure for success by utilising the CRM system.

Personal Development through training.

Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Clean, current driving licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years field sales experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Must live in the area to be covered.
  • Must be I.T Literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems. 
  • Industry/competitor knowledge would be advantageous.
